Our Interscholastic Equestrian Team, Emerald City, competed at the Heritage Stables IEA show on Sunday, December 12th. Against 8 other teams we earned Overall High School Champion and Overall Middle School Reserve Champion. Ellen Brooks won first place in Varsity Open O/F and 4th in Varsity Flat. Kali Jarvis earned 5th in Varsity Intermediate O/F and 2nd in the flat. Karen Osborne earned 4th in Varsity Int. O/F and 4th in the flat. Kacy Gardiner earned 6th in the Varsity Int. flat. Ava Gurney earned 3rd in the Future Intermediate O/F and 4th in the flat. Allie Roth earned 6th in the JV Novice O/F and 5th in the flat. Julie Powers earned 2nd in the JV Novice O/F and 3rd in the flat. Taylor Johnson earned 4th in the JV Novice O/F and 1st in the flat. Marissa Braun earned 5th in the JV Novice O/F and 5th in the flat. Madison DeRegis earned 2nd in Future Novice O/F and 3rd in the flat. Brittany Valentine earned 1st in the Future Novice flat. Haley Ruggles earned 5th in the Future Novice O/F and 6th in the flat. Emma Navone earned 6th in the Future Novice O/F. Jovan Daniel earned 6th in the Beginner flat. Casey Abene-Meagley earned 1st in the Beginner flat and Mikayla Catherman earned 5th in the Beginner flat. Great job everyone!!

Addie Evans and her horse Telluride competed at the Local Day of the Syracuse Invitational. They came in 1st in the Equitation and 5th in the Hunter. Excellent job!!!

Sunday, October 24th Affinity Farm held its 4th annual Halloween Fun Show. Over 20 Affinity riders participated. A lot of fun was held by all during all the exciting riding games and costume class. Champion in our Beginner Division was Rylee Buttons, Reserve Champion was Nate Barber.
Advanced Beginner Champion was Maddie Clark and Reserve Champion was Grace Hoey. Champion in the Intermediate division was Mikayla Cathermine and Reserve Champion was Haley Ruggles. Advanced Champion was Ellen Brooks and Reserve Champion was Jane Knight. Congrats to all!
